TREE BRANCH/LIMB DROP-OFF PROGRAM

 

For the convenience of Madison Township residents, the Service Department will accept tree branches and limbs from residential yard clean up at the Drop-Off Site at 1747 Hubbard Road.

 

FIRST AND THIRD SATURDAY MORNINGS ®   beginning each month April 2nd, 2005 through October 15th, 2005 the facility will be open, weather permitting, from 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.

 

 

SECOND AND FOURTH WEDNESDAY EVENINGS ®  beginning each month April 13th, 2005 through October 26th, 2005 the facility will be open, weather permitting, from 3:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M.

 

 

 

The Branch Drop-Off Site will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

 

Saturday, May 28th, 2005 for Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday, July 2nd, 2005 for Independence Day Weekend

Saturday, September 3rd, 2005 for Labor Day Weekend

 

Material received will be processed into wood chips and made available to Madison Township residents.

 

 The program is subject to the same regulations as last year:

                                YES...         C Residential yard clean-up:  limbs, twigs and branches ONLY

                                                                       C Natural organic wood material no larger than 8" in diameter

                                                                       C Material can be loose or tied (with twine or string ties only)

                                                                       C Wood chips available to each family for home use

                        

                             NO...    D Tree stumps or contaminated material

                                                           D Contractors!!

                                                                      D Trash, garbage, leaves or grass

                                                          D Steel, wire, or plastic (ties or bags)

                                                                      D Processed lumber, timber, railroad ties, etc.

                                                                      D Pallets

                                                          D Material that cannot be processed by our chipping machine
