Nestled on the shores of Lake Erie, Bill Stanton Community Park is a  well kept secret. 

 

This 30 plus acre park boasts an in-ground swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, beach access, a picnic pavilion, and lots of space to run. The parks are opened to all everyday.

 

Also located at Stanton Park are several rental facilities that are available throughout the year for your party, wedding, graduation, reunion and/or vacation needs.

BANQUET HALL

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Large, heated open room with seating at twenty 60"-round tables (up to 8 people per table); four 6'-rectangular tables and four 8'-rectangular tables are available for food and head tables; full kitchen featuring  2 ovens, 10-burner gas range, 24" x 36" griddle, refrigerator, freezer; restrooms; portable bar; and ceiling fans.

RATES:

*    $75.00 per hour - up to six hours

*    $500.00 for over six hours

*    $200.00 Security Deposit

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
Rustic cabin situated on 30-plus acres of Bill Stanton Community Park. The cabin sleeps 
up to 8 people in four bedrooms (2 full beds and 2 sets of bunk beds), 2 full baths, living room, 
full kitchen, TV/VCR, local telephone, fireplace, a new 14' x 24' wood deck, and gas grill. 
All you need to bring is your bed and bath linens. Use of the grounds and a pool pass are included.

RATES:
*    Rental Fee of $95.00 per night or
*    $550.00 for a Week stay
*    Security Deposit: $100.00 (Security Deposit is in addition to the rental fee, but is refundable as long as all guidelines are 
    met, and cabin is left in its original condition) 



PAVILION:							Pavillion at Stanton Park
                                                                                                              
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
Open air pavilion with picnic tables, grills, and a great view of Lake Erie. NO ELECTRIC SERVICE.




DEPOSITS AND REFUNDS    

*    The security deposit must be paid in full and contract signed before a building can be reserved.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

*    Rental fees must be paid in full within 30 days of scheduled event or deposit is forfeited.

*    In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit must be paid, but will be refunded within thirty days after the event if the facility or area is in its original condition.

*    The renter is responsible for all damages caused to the facility by contractors or guests.  Security deposit will be forfeited if any damages occur.

*    A full refund of rental fee can only be granted if the event is cancelled, in writing, 30 days prior to the scheduled event.  Refunds will be mailed to the renter.

*    All other equipment (tables, chairs, tents, etc.) must be removed within the timeline set by the Parks and Recreation Department or the security deposit is forfeited.  Madison Township is not responsible for any damages to or theft of equipment left on the premises after the scheduled event.


GUIDELINES

*    Any equipment to be used must be approved by the Parks and Recreation Department at least two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.

*    All alcoholic beverages must be consumed inside the Banquet Hall.  The renter is responsible to ensure that alcoholic beverages are only consumed by persons of legal age.

*    If alcohol is going to be sold, proof of a temporary liquor license must accompany the rental contract.

*    Security must be hired for all events that have alcohol present.  Off duty police officers shall be hired through Madison Township Police Department. (440) 428-2116.

*    No smoking in any buildings.

*    Renter must be 21 years old or older.

*    All premises must be vacated by midnight .

*    No animals are permitted in any building.

*    An adult must supervise children less than 13 years old at all times.

 


CLEAN UP REQUIREMENTS

*    All trash must be removed from the building and placed in dumpsters or cans.

*    All lights must be turned off and doors and windows locked.

*    Thermostat must be returned to a minimal setting (winter only).

*    No nails or marks on walls.

*    Counters in the kitchen must be cleaned, floors swept and spills mopped.

*    Chairs stacked eight (8) high next to the tables.


RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1.     No person shall consume or have in his/her possession any intoxicating beverages,     

        liquor, or alcohol except in authorized events.

  2.     All pets, including horses, are not permitted in the Parks, except during authorized  

        events. (Suspended until January 1, 2003 for pilot program allowing only dogs if they  

        are leashed and cleaned up after.)

  3.     No person shall operate or park a motor vehicle, except in designated areas and in

        compliance with all laws and traffic control devices.

  4.     No person shall litter the Park areas with garbage, waste, rubbish, refuse or junk.

        Bottles and cans are not permitted on the beach.

  5.     All persons shall conduct themselves with due regard and respect for all other lawful   

        users of the Park.

  6.     Fires shall be for cooking purposes only - restricted to the picnic area and contained in

        the charcoal grills provided.

  7.     Swimming from the beach or an area adjacent to the Park shall be done at the

        individual´┐Żs own risk.

  8.     All persons shall comply with all laws, rules and regulations and shall conduct

        themselves in an orderly fashion and in a manner which is not unreasonably offensive

        to other users of the Park.

  9.     No person shall operate a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle (ATV) off of the

        designated roadways in the park (i.e. in the fields).

10.      All parks close at dusk, except for authorized events.

 

VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS CONSTITUTES A MINOR MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY A MAXIMUM FINE OF $100.00 FOR EACH VIOLATION.

 

VIOLATORS OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL BE PROSECUTED BY AUTHORITY OF OHIO REVISED CODE SECTION 511.32.
